"Nuevo Mundo" is a Spanish phrase, meaning "The New World". 

The Nuevo Mundo limited edition was inspired by the mystery Inca legends. It is said that the Pre-Columbian Indians believed that gold, this precious metal, absorbed the sun’s energy. So they use amounts of gold in the Sun-Gold rites in order to communicate its beneficial effects to man.  For S.T.Dupont, gold is a magnificent and precious metal that can be used. 

“Nuevo Mundo” is a collection of rare pieces that marry the luster of gold and the intense blue of spines with incomparable depth of midnight blue Chinese lacquer.
